A Passion For Cars & Racing!

Hi! My name is Lucas Kristian Petersson and I’ve been born and raised in Dubai (UAE). As you might have already noticed I am not Emirati but instead part Swedish and Argentinian. My Swedish side comes from my dad Lars Kristian Petersson, while my Argentinian side is from my mom Marie Valerie Petersson.

Many memories from Dubai have been from the American School of Dubai, where I have been attending since I was 4. But behind work and school comes racing. Ever since the first day I went to the Autodrome I wanted to drive karts, and just a few weeks later I won a Rookie Cup at the Kartdrome. Ever since I have been building my passion for karting, but lately have changed to another form of racing, Formula 4. Although it was a tough choice to accept change after 8 years, I felt I was ready for the challenge.

My first Formula 4 season started in December of 2017 where I began racing for Energy Dubai, a friendly and competitive team.
